Job Summary
Operate, clean, and troubleshoot the KEM punch while loading sheets and inspecting them for proper registration. Conduct deck integrity inspections, update maintenance logs for any abnormalities, and complete production documentation. Review assigned work with the lead person and maintain 5S standards in the work area. Requires 2 to 5 years of machine operation experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and full color vision. Full-time role with moderate physical demands involving standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of machine operation experience
- High School diploma or equivalent work experience
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong Mechanical aptitude
- High attention to detail and judgment based on written procedures and guidelines
- Ability to quickly identify production problems and ability to identify quality problems
- Ability to work well with others and cooperate with team members and leadership team
- Sitting at workstation as little as 20% of work time, standing and walking as much as 80% depending on assignment
- Lift / push / pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to twist, reach, squat, and bend
- Requires ability to reach, grasp, and manipulate objects
- Full color vision
