Job Summary
Review mortgage loan files for accuracy and completeness, executing detailed quality control checks across documentation. Run DU and LP findings, select optimal underwriting findings with minimal conditions, and submit loan files through lender portals. Order FHA case numbers, verify VA COE, track progress, and maintain accurate system updates while communicating with loan officers and escalating complex scenarios. Manage multiple active files to meet turnaround expectations. This night-shift role (EST) supports a growing US mortgage client via PeoplePartners, focusing on clean, accurate submissions to keep the pipeline moving smoothly.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of mortgage processing, submission, underwriting support, or related mortgage experience
- Strong understanding of AUS systems (DU and/or LP)
- Experience working with Loan Origination Systems (LOS)
- Ability to interpret underwriting findings
- Strong written English communication skills
- Experience managing multiple files and deadlines simultaneously
- Comfortable working across multiple systems and lender portals
- Reliable remote working setup and stable internet connection
- Ability to work US Eastern Time hours
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using Arive LOS
- Experience with FHA, VA, and USDA loan processes
- FHA case number ordering experience
- VA COE verification experience
- Knowledge of income calculation and asset sourcing
- Exposure to pre-submission QC or loan auditing
- Familiarity with Airtable or workflow tracking tools
