Job Summary
Assess eligibility, identify legal issues, and determine case strategy for individuals and corporate foreign nationals seeking US visa status. Work with global mobility personnel and clients to prepare applications for US Consulates in the APAC region, while drafting and filing petition applications and liaising with Embassies. Manage a broad caseload independently, handle consultations on specific visa issues, and review the work of a small team of paralegals. Coordinate with US management on work distribution and develop regional business networks.
Required Qualifications
- US immigration law experience
- sound working knowledge of US immigration law, regulations and policy
- ability to work on and support other members of the team on highly technical immigration matters
- ability to provide legal immigration advice
- experience in managing a caseload independently
- U.S. JD qualification
- 5+ years of experience working on US corporate immigration matters
