Job Summary

Provide strategic and operational leadership for US laboratory and business operations to ensure consistent, efficient, and compliant execution across Discovery Sciences sites. Lead planning, forecasting, and prioritization with Finance to manage the department budget, while overseeing US lab operations including space strategy, equipment lifecycle, and vendor management. Design, implement, and continuously improve cross-site operational processes, governance, and tools such as purchasing, capital expenditure, and business continuity. Partner closely with leaders and scientists to remove operational barriers, influence strategy, and drive operational excellence within a highly matrixed environment. Act as a key interface to enterprise functions including Facilities, HR, IT, and Procurement to ensure aligned planning and seamless execution of objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's, Master's and/or PhD in a relevant life-science or related field
  • Advanced degree
  • 8+ years' experience in a biomedical/life sciences environment
  • Demonstrated ability to enable scientific organizations through strong operational leadership
