Job Summary
Outside Food Sales Representative responsible for sales and relationship management within the Huntington, WV territory. Develop new business, deepen existing customer relationships, conduct weekly-to-monthly customer visits, and manage the sales territory. responsibilities include researching market trends, identifying prospective customers, presenting sales strategies and products offered by Gordon Food Service, conducting business reviews, and providing ongoing customer training on product offerings. Training during the first 90 days covers systems, products, sales processes, and relationship-building within the large Gordon Food Service network.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED is required
- 1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience
- Maintaining a valid state driver's license and a safe driving record
- Ability to obtain your food safety certification
