Job Summary
Outside Food Sales Representative in Huntington, WV, responsible for overall sales and relationship management within the assigned territory, including pursuing new customers, deepening existing customer relationships, and conducting regular customer visits. Role involves researching industry trends, developing sales strategies that highlight Gordon Food Service offerings, providing ongoing training to customers on product offerings, coordinating visits for new and existing customers, and supporting a structured 90-day onboarding with training on systems and processes, products, and territory management. Requires strong relationship-building, communication, and ability to manage a sales territory; preferred Bachelor’s degree or culinary certificate and 1 year of related experience; valid driver’s license and ability to obtain food safety certification.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED is required
- Bachelor's degree and/or culinary certificate preferred
- 1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience
- Maintaining a valid state driver's license and a safe driving record
- Ability to obtain your food safety certification
