Job Summary
Manage high-volume commercial workflows by redlining and negotiating key legal documents including Licensing, B2B SaaS agreements, MSAs, and NDAs. Engage directly with enterprise-level opposing counsel to ensure swift, fair, and strategic deal closures while providing actionable, business-first advice to technical and operational teams. Partner with leadership to build internal legal playbooks, contract templates, and negotiation guardrails to support rapid post-Series C scale. This role requires 7+ years of experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, with a J.D. and active New York bar membership. Located in New York with five days in-office.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
- at least 2 years in-house
- 10+ years of experience at a major law firm
- looking for your first foundational in-house opportunity
- Proven track record handling high-velocity B2B SaaS
- enterprise software licensing
- inbound/outbound tech transactions
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- active membership in good standing with any US state bar
- eligible to register as In-House Counsel in New York
