Job Summary
Conduct 1-on-1 counseling with applicants to build extracurricular profiles and applications, meeting remotely to edit essays and provide feedback that fosters independent writing skills. Generate creative and practical professional experiences for students' extracurricular activities while providing comprehensive support as they prepare their applications. Collaborate with a team of up to three counselors and a Senior Counselor Mentor to support each student's progress, maintaining a caseload of 0-15 students based on availability. This role offers growth opportunities within a team of over 320 employees across 15 countries, assisting students in applying to U.S. Colleges and Graduate schools.
Required Qualifications
- Phenomenal writing skills
- Experience working with students
- A Bachelor's Degree from a US college/university
Desired Qualifications
- Masters and/or PhD, in progress or in hand
- Teaching experience working with high school, college, or graduate students
- Admissions experience
