Job Summary
Senior-level US Advisory Salesperson/Equities Research Sales role focused on refining sales/marketing strategy to grow Citi's client footprint and maximize revenue, raising capital for clients in capital markets, and advising on mergers and acquisitions in coordination with Institutional Banking. The Director Salesperson serves as an intermediary in trading for clients, acts as a strategic advisor to clients by formulating investment strategies, builds relationships with buy-side clients, collaborates with cross-functional teams (Legal, Compliance, Risk, Finance) to ensure governance and control, and is expected to obtain required licenses (Series 3, 7, 57, 63) and possess a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred). Responsibilities include leveraging networks to identify client needs, positioning Citi offerings, driving governance and risk assessment, and maintaining compliance with Code of Conduct and Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of sales experience at a financial services organization
- Experience in a client-facing role working with the buy-side community
- Must have or be able to obtain required licenses including Series 3, 7, 57 and 63
- Education: Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master's degree preferred
