Job Summary
Manage open trauma cases involving stab wounds, gunshot wounds, and repairs to the kidneys, testicles, bladder, and adrenal surgery at a Level II Trauma facility. Perform standard urologic procedures including stone care, stents, cystoscopies, torsions, hernia repair, and endourology, while covering incidental appendectomies and hand-assisted laparoscopic nephrectomies. Provide 24-hour on-call rotation for vacation coverage from December 24 through January 4. Requires board certification in Urology, a valid South Carolina medical license, and DEA registration.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified Urologist
- Medical License in South Carolina
- DEA registered in South Carolina
- Experience with EPIC
- Experience with Delta Locum Tenens credentialing and travel arrangements
- Experience with malpractice coverage
