Job Summary
Provide support to urologists and deliver essential nursing care to patients under the direction of the RN. Perform procedures related to orthopedic and urological care while demonstrating a compassionate approach to patient interaction. Maintain flexibility in working patient care areas throughout the hospital. This dual-role position requires completion of a Nursing Assistant training course or 3 months of a healthcare program, along with current BLS and NCI certification. Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a Nursing Assistant training course
- Completion of 3 months of a healthcare program
- Minimum of 3 months direct patient care experience
- Minimum of 3 months experience as nursing assistant
- Minimum of 3 months experience as student nurse
- Minimum of 3 months experience as medic
- Minimum of 3 months experience as EMT
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card
- NCI certification
