Job Summary
Urology Surgicalist role at UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA. Provide inpatient and emergency department urology consultations and intra-operative support, manage urgent and emergent urologic procedures, and deliver comprehensive inpatient care. Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, emergency medicine physicians, and surgical subspecialists; participate in surgical quality improvement and patient safety initiatives; may supervise or mentor medical students, residents, or advanced practice providers. Opportunity for academic appointment with potential involvement in clinical, basic, translational, and health-related quality research within a high-volume, hospital-based academic setting.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Urology
- Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts
