Urology Surgicalist Opportunity-UMass Memorial Health

Hospital-based Urology Surgicalist role focused on inpatient and emergency department urology care. Responsibilities include providing inpatient and ED consultations, performing intra-operative consultations, managing urgent and emergent urologic procedures and surgeries (e.g., obstructing stones, gross hematuria, testicular torsion, urologic trauma, urinary retention), delivering comprehensive postoperative care for hospitalized urology patients, collaborating with hospitalists, intensivists, ED physicians, and subspecialists, participating in surgical quality improvement and patient safety programs, maintaining thorough documentation in the EMR, and potentially supervising or mentoring medical students, residents, or advanced practice providers.
