Job Summary
Urology Scrub Technician responsible for preparing and assisting in ureteroscopy and laser procedures, setting up ureteroscopy/laser equipment in the OR, assisting the Urologist, managing scheduling communications with facilities, and maintaining supplies, logs, and manuals in compliance with HIPAA. The role includes equipment upkeep, coordinating with service engineers for malfunctions, and building relationships with physician partners while ensuring readiness and proper handling of cystoscopy and laser equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Scrub Tech or Certified Surgical Technologist or similar background preferred
- Prior OR experience preferred
- Urology experience preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience working in Operation Room setting
- Prior experience with Holmium Laser utilization for Urology procedures a plus
