Job Summary
Obtains patient health history, performs physical examinations, and develops differential diagnoses for acute and chronic conditions. Orders, interprets, and follows up on diagnostic tests while managing medications within practice standards. Provides individualized patient education on preventive care and performs medication reconciliation during admission and discharge to ensure safety. Documents encounters and communicates effectively with the multidisciplinary care team. Requires current New Hampshire license, DEA certification, and national board certification. Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice in state of New Hampshire
- Current DEA License
- Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, or American Nurses Credentialing Center
- Current ACLS certification
- Education Completion of an Accredited Physician Assistant Program or Advanced Practice Nursing Program
