Job Summary
Urology Oncologist sought to join the University of Michigan department in the new Troy Center for Specialty Care as a founding member of a multidisciplinary Urologic Oncology program. Position involves 50% outpatient urologic oncology clinic and 50% procedure/operating room-based care (cystoscopy suite and OR), with emphasis on prostate, bladder, kidney, and testicular cancers, including PSA screening, MRI-targeted and systematic prostate biopsy, cystoscopy, TURBT, and ureteroscopy. Clinic will operate in a 4-day week with dedicated time for outpatient evaluation and procedures; collaboration with other physicians and growth of a subspecialty oncologic urology practice in a region with strong patient demand. Roles may be eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work as determined by department. Rank may be Clinical Instructor, Clinical Assistant Professor, or Clinical Associate Professor depending on qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Board certified or board eligible in Urology
- Urology residency completed
- State of Michigan medical license or ability to obtain
- Evidence of clinical competence and scholarly activity (publications)
