Job Summary
Office Nurse I (LPN/RMA/CMA) at Holston Medical Group — provide quality patient care in a clinic setting, including vital signs, data collection, medication administration, patient education, and health coaching within the Patient-Centered Medical Home model. Responsibilities include preparing patients for examinations, obtaining prior authorizations for procedures, maintaining supplies and equipment, enforcing policies, coordinating with providers, enrolling patients in myHMG, directing colon screening, and mentoring new nursing staff. Occasional off-site moves may occur to support business needs; the role emphasizes teamwork, compassionate patient interaction, and adherence to HIPAA/PHI privacy.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- LPN license or MA Certification by the state in which employed
- 0 -2 years LPN experience
- CPR certified
- Excellent communication skills
