Job Summary
Diagnose and manage a broad range of urologic conditions including BPH, nephrolithiasis, urinary tract disorders, and malignancies. Perform urologic procedures and surgeries consistent with training and granted privileges while providing inpatient consultations and outpatient follow-up care. Participate in shared call coverage per department policy and collaborate closely with primary care physicians, hospitalists, emergency medicine, oncology, and ancillary services. Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant medical documentation within the electronic medical record and adhere to Prime Healthcare policies, clinical protocols, and regulatory requirements. Required Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Urology Residency
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Urology (American Board of Urology)
- Eligibility for New Jersey medical licensure
- Eligibility for DEA registration and hospital credentialing
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to evidence-based medicine, ethical practice, and patient-centered care
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in a hospital-based or community urology practice
- Interest in growing and developing urology services within the hospital
- Subspecialty interests welcomed but not required
