Job Summary
Board-certified or board-eligible Urologist needed to join the Phoenix VA Health Care System Urology team. Responsibilities include performing pre-operative assessments, adult urological surgery, and management of genitourinary injuries/diseases with both major and minor procedures; robotics training/experience is a plus. Potential faculty appointment at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix and involvement in education of urology fellows, residents, and medical students. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. with minimal call. Required Qualifications
- Board-certified or Board-eligible in Urology
- Active U.S. medical license
- Ability to perform adult urological surgery including pre-operative assessment and management
- Experience or training in robotics a plus
- Ability to teach and participate in healthcare education
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
