Urologist Needed – Brown Academic Appointment, Minimal Call

Urologist needed to join Brown University Health in Rhode Island with an academically focused team. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient urology care, 3 to 3.5 days of clinic, one day in the operating room, and a half-day of clinical admin time. Offers an academic appointment to Brown, triaged call in RI (with residents, fellows and APPs taking first call) 3–4 weekends per year and about 3 weeknights per month. Benefits include base salary $360K-$500K+, RVUs with a reasonable threshold, additional pay for call, 6 weeks PTO, generous CME, malpractice tail coverage, 401K with 6% match, and excellent health/dental benefits. The department leverages 6+ DaVinci robots and collaborates with interventional radiology. The team includes 19 urologists, 4 cancer specialists, and 7 APPs; there is potential placement in Massachusetts for a non-academic role with greater autonomy. The Urology division emphasizes multidisciplinary care and an easy referral process, with locations in Rhode Island and the surrounding region.
