Job Summary
Urology/Urologic Oncology physician recruitment opportunity anchored by UAB Department of Urology and Infirmary Health. Recruitment of 4-6 Urologists to join a newly formed Department of Urology under an academic partnership, with General Urology, Cancer Urologists, and subspecialties, located in Mobile, AL. The position offers joint recruitment by UAB Heersink School of Medicine and Infirmary Health, research and translational opportunities through the O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center affiliation, access to clinical trials, and competitive compensation based on MGMA benchmarks. Board-certified urologists or those completing fellowships are encouraged to apply; affiliation with the O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at UAB is available in addition to the department appointment.
Required Qualifications
- Board certification in Urology
- Experience in academic medical center recruitment
- Affiliation with cancer center or interest in oncologic urology preferred
- Fellowship training in urologic oncology or subspecialty interests considered
