Job Summary
Recruitment for 4-6 Urologists to join a newly established Department of Urology/Urologic Oncology under joint leadership of UAB Department of Urology and Infirmary Health. Positions located in Mobile, AL, with affiliation to UAB O'Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center. Roles include general urology, cancer urology, and subspecialty needs, with opportunities for research and translational work. Compensation to be determined by MGMA benchmarks; employment through University of Alabama Health System Foundation. Board-certified or fellowship-trained physicians with clinical or academic experience are encouraged to apply. This is a full-time clinical position within an academic health system operating across Alabama, with access to cancer research initiatives and cross-institution collaboration; Mobile area benefits include proximity to Gulf Coast and family-friendly community amenities.
Required Qualifications
- Board certified Urologists and those completing fellowships are encouraged to apply
- clinical or academic experience in urology or oncology
- ability to contribute to a developing Department of Urology/Urologic Oncology within an academic partnership
- eligibility or willingness to engage in clinical trials and translational research
- collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care and education
