Job Summary
Recruitment for 4-6 Urologists to join a newly formed Department of Urology/Urologic Oncology under an academic partnership between UAB Heersink School of Medicine and Infirmary Health. The role involves joining a multi-disciplinary cancer program at Infirmary Cancer Care in Mobile, AL, with access to the O'Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center and opportunities for clinical/translational research, leading-edge trials, and collaboration with UAB and Infirmary Health. The position offers competitive compensation based on MGMA benchmarks and involves clinical urology practice within a university-affiliated system, with potential subspecialty roles in general urology, cancer urology, and other urologic subspecialties. Candidates will be able to participate in multidisciplinary cancer care across two cancer centers and multiple clinics, including affiliation with the UAB/Heersink academic health system and participation in research and academic activities.
Required Qualifications
- Board certified Urologist or completing fellowship
- clinical or academic experience in urologic oncology or related subspecialties
- appointment within UAB Heersink School of Medicine department of Urology and Infirmary Health
