Job Summary
Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with urological disorders. Conduct a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, TURP, and prostate biopsy. Execute complex surgical interventions such as prostatectomy, nephrectomy, cystectomy, pyeloplasty, and renal transplantation. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical records in accordance with hospital standards. Mentor junior medical staff, residents, and medical students in clinical and surgical techniques. Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and emergency surgical duties. Requires MBBS degree with postgraduate qualification in Urology (MS or DNB) and minimum of 1 year of post-qualification clinical experience.
Required Qualifications
- MBBS degree with postgraduate qualification in Urology (MS in Urology or DNB in Urology)
- Minimum of 1 year of post-qualification clinical experience in a hospital or specialized urology center
- Proven proficiency in all required surgical skills, including: Artificial Urinary Sphincter Insertion, Bladder Augmentation, Bladder Suspension Surgery, Cystectomy, Cystoscopy, Kidney Stone Removal (Lithotripsy), Nephrectomy, Orchiectomy, Penile Prosthesis Implantation, Prostate Biopsy, Prostatectomy, Pyeloplasty, Renal Transplantation, TURP (Transurethral Resection of the Prostate), Ureteroscopy, Urethral Stricture Repair, Urinary Bladder Repair, Urinary Diversion Surgery, Vasectomy, Vasecto...
- Strong understanding of urological oncology, reconstructive urology, and male infertility management
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent) and any additional certifications required by the hospital
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and emergency surgical duties
