Job Summary
Urologic Surgeons – Academic & Community Opportunities at UMass Memorial Health / UMass Chan Medical School offer two immediate openings for General Urologists with a blended role of clinical time at community sites and time on the university campus. The role supports teaching residents and medical students, opportunities for clinical, translational, and quality-of-care research, and participation in an academically oriented surgical practice. Compensation includes a guaranteed period, RVU bonuses, sign-on and relocation packages, generous PTO/CME, comprehensive benefits, retirement contributions, and a faculty appointment. Visa sponsorship is available. Location: Worcester, MA, with access to a strong referral base and the broader New England region.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Urology (BC/BE)
- MD or DO degree in medicine
- Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts
- Ability to teach residents and medical students
- Commitment to patient care and academic medicine
- Experience or strong interest in clinical, translational, or health outcomes research
