Job Summary
Urologic Surgeons – Academic & Community Opportunities with UMass Memorial Health/UMass Chan Medical School. We seek BC/BE Urologic Surgeons for a blend of clinical time at community sites and on the University Campus, with opportunities for clinical, basic, translational, and health-related quality research in a collaborative academic environment. The role includes teaching residents and medical students, joining a growing Division of Community-Based Urology, and contributing to an academically oriented surgical practice. Compensation features a guaranteed period with RVU bonuses, sign-on incentive, relocation package, generous PTO and CME time, comprehensive benefits, and a faculty appointment with UMass Chan Medical School. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates. Location benefits include Worcester, MA, with access to Boston, Cape Cod, and Providence, RI. Required Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Urology (BC/BE)
- MD/DO (medical degree)
- Academic medicine interest or track record preferred
- Experience in teaching residents and medical students
- Ability to participate in clinical, basic, translational, and health-related quality research
- Faculty appointment at UMass Chan Medical School or equivalent
- Willingness to relocate to Worcester, MA or reside in the service area
- Visa sponsorship support available
