Job Summary

Urologic Oncology Surgeon needed to join an established MultiCare Cancer Institute urology-oncology service line in Washington. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating urinary tract and male reproductive cancers (prostate, bladder, kidney, testicular), performing advanced procedures such as radical prostatectomy, nephrectomy, and cystectomy (often using minimally invasive and robotic-assisted techniques), interpreting diagnostic imaging and lab results, developing pre- and post-operative care plans, collaborating with oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and PCPs, participating in multidisciplinary tumor boards and quality-improvement initiatives, educating patients and families, staying current with advances in urologic oncology, mentoring residents/fellows, and participating in clinical trials or research initiatives where applicable.

Required Qualifications

  • Board certified/eligible in Urology at time of employment
  • Successful completion of a residency program
  • Successful completion of fellowship accredited by the Society of Urologic Oncology
  • Current licensure in Washington State by the time of employment
  • DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
