Job Summary
Urologic Oncologist (Fellowship-Trained) sought to join Allina Health Cancer Institute in the Minneapolis area. The role features a hybrid academic-community model within a large network, collaboration within an oncology team, access to advanced technology, and involvement in a multi-center research program and clinical trials. Responsibilities include conducting patient consultations and assessments, diagnosing and treating cancers of the urinary tract and male reproductive organs, administering therapies, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, facilitating patient access to care, and contributing to clinical guidelines and continuous improvement efforts. The position requires a medical degree, urology residency, board eligibility/certification in Urology, and fellowship/advanced training in Urologic Oncology; licensure and certs as specified by the employer are required upon hire. Experience with Epic EMR, robotic training, and BLS certification are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of Doctor of Medicine (MD)/Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) program or foreign equivalent from an approved school of medicine
- Completion of urology residency and board eligible/board certified in Urology
- Completed an SUO or other accredited fellowship/advanced training in Urologic Oncology
- Licensed Physician - MN Board of Medical Practice required upon hire
- BLS/DAA/PCP-related certifications as applicable
- National Provider Identifier required upon hire
- Drug Enforcement Agency Certificate required upon hire
- Prescription Monitoring Program required upon hire
