Job Summary
Teach medical students and residents through lectures, rounds, and clinical activities in the office and operating room. Provide urogynecology care, including ambulatory services and surgery in the hospital. Manage general administrative duties such as documenting and reviewing patient charts. Lead the training of urogynecology fellows and contribute to research initiatives. Collaborate with colleagues as an integral part of the health system's diverse team. This full-time academic appointment supports a four-year residency program and third-year medical students at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. The department serves over 2,400 deliveries annually and offers significant opportunities for career development within a performance-driven environment.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Degree from an accredited program
- New York Medical License/Active NYS DEA
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery
- Successfully completion of a Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship
- Valid New York State Medical License
- Qualify for an academic appointment to the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai
