Job Summary
Board-eligible or board-certified reconstructive urologist sought to join Carilion Clinic and VTCSOM in Roanoke, VA to help shape a rapidly expanding academic Section of Urology. The role emphasizes building programs, teaching and mentorship, curriculum development, and scholarly activity within an evolving health system pursuing an independent Department of Urology and a urology residency. Fellowship in URPS/FPMRS is preferred; candidates with strong clinical/academic interest in pelvic reconstruction are encouraged to apply. Academic appointment at VTCSOM commensurate with experience with opportunities for research collaboration across Virginia Tech and Carilion.
Required Qualifications
- Board-eligible or board-certified reconstructive urologist
- URPS / FPMRS fellowship preferred but not required for candidacy
- Academic appointment commensurate with experience
- Interest in building programs, teaching, leadership, mentorship, and scholarly activity
- Willingness to contribute to curriculum development and a residency program
- Experience with research collaboration and institutional growth
