Job Summary
Records Center Specialist responsible for moving freight and materials within a warehouse, performing general warehouse tasks, inspecting loads for accuracy, and maintaining organized inventory. Must demonstrate physical endurance and strength for repetitive lifting and handling of items, operate small equipment like pallet jacks, and assist with loading/unloading and inventory checks to ensure timely delivery from facility to facility. Requires hands-on work in a warehouse setting with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and productivity.
Required Qualifications
- Physical strength and stamina; ability to lift, move boxes and navigate a warehouse environment
- Ability to lift/move items up to 51 lbs and walk/stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
- Experience with general warehouse activities (opening crates/containers, inventory taking, weighing materials)
- Ability to move freight and inventory using manual handling or equipment (pallet jacks, carts)
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory and processing
