Job Summary
Independent Living Services (ILS) Instructor needed for part-time, afternoon support to assist an individual with autism and a psychiatric disorder. Responsibilities include promoting independence and daily living skills, home management, budgeting basics, and community engagement. Provide reminders, encouragement, and hands-on guidance; support personal care routines; help with organizing living space and simple routines; teach budgeting concepts; encourage participation in community activities; coordinate scheduling and transportation as appropriate. Work is one-on-one, in-home and within the community, during 12:00 PM–3:00 PM, with emphasis on structure, encouragement, and progress toward independence. Required qualifications include two forms of valid identification, CPR and First Aid, Live Scan clearance, TB test clearance, and demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills. Preference for experience with autism and/or psychiatric disorders.
