Job Summary
Deliver personalized one-on-one home care tailored to the client's individual needs, assisting with Activities of Daily Living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene. Support safe mobility, transfers, repositioning, and fall prevention while offering companionship and emotional support to promote overall well-being. Provide medication reminders according to the client's care plan, observe and report changes in condition, and complete accurate documentation following agency standards. This full-time weekday role (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM start) is based in Carol Stream, Illinois, with a competitive salary and Roth IRA retirement benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to pass a background check
- Valid Driver's License
- Current Auto Insurance
- Reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- CNA certification
- Previous experience as a Caregiver, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), Personal Care Assistant (PCA), or Private Duty Caregiver
- Experience providing senior care, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, companion care, personal care, or in-home care services
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in the client's home
- High school diploma or GED
