Job Summary
Provide personalized one-on-one home care for a senior client in Carol Stream, Illinois, focusing on Activities of Daily Living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Support safe mobility, transfers, and fall prevention while assisting with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry. Offer daily companionship and emotional support, provide medication reminders, and report any changes in the client's condition to the care team. Complete accurate documentation while adhering to agency standards. This full-time weekday role (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM start) offers competitive pay, Roth IRA retirement, and flexible scheduling for experienced caregivers.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to pass a background check
- Valid Driver's License
- Current Auto Insurance
- Reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- CNA certification
- Previous experience as a Caregiver, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), Personal Care Assistant (PCA), or Private Duty Caregiver
- Experience providing senior care, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, companion care, personal care, or in-home care services
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in the client's home
- High school diploma or GED
