Job Summary
Advanced Practice Providers evaluate and implement high-quality medical care for adults and children in an Urgent Care setting, in collaboration with center physicians. The role requires board-certified/eligible Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants, an active Ohio license, a DEA registration, and ongoing certifications (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS or NALS). The position includes a flexible FT schedule (3-day/12-hour weeks for FT status) with a comprehensive benefits package, credentialing support, and opportunities for professional development. Responsibilities include patient care delivery, documentation and communication for reimbursement, adherence to center policies, and participation in meetings to support operations, with prior Urgent Care/FM/EM experience preferred and a strong emphasis on compassionate patient care and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Ohio
- Advanced degree from NP/PA program
- Current DEA registration
- DOT certification
- BLS certification (provided if needed)
- Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses
- Experience reading diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs
- Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine preferred
