Job Summary
PRN Physical Therapist position within Presbyterian Healthcare Services' network, focused on home health care and inpatient rehabilitation. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients (infants through adults) using a wide variety of therapeutic interventions, interpreting data, coordinating with multiple disciplines, and promoting patient/caregiver self-determination to achieve independence. Role involves discharge planning and ensuring a comprehensive rehabilitation program addressing physical, psychosocial, and environmental well-being. Requires basic computer skills and knowledge of growth and development principles, with opportunities to float to adult units as needed. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree (NM PT license required), BLS at time of hire, and new graduates are encouraged to apply; Doctor of Physical Therapy is preferred. EPIC electronic charting experience is a plus; tuition/certification reimbursement and loan forgiveness are available, along with security measures and staff safety programs.
