Job Summary
Provide direct rehab care to patients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist in accordance with Life Care standards and applicable laws. Implement and interpret department programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures while performing competency areas including patient rights, safety, and sanitation. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, follow harassment and compliance procedures, and utilize therapy software accurately. Participate in community health projects as appropriate and demonstrate excellent customer service. Requires an accredited ASOT degree, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and English language skills.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (ASOT)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and e mail
- Knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post acute care facility
- Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
- Understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
- Displays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Life Care's Code of Conduct and completes mandatory Code of Conduct and other appropriate compliance training
- Utilize therapy software appropriately and accurately
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
