Job Summary
COTA provides direct rehab care in occupational therapy to patients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist in a post-acute care facility. Requires NBCOT certification upon hire and ASOT degree, with new grads welcome. Responsibilities include implementing and interpreting department programs, ensuring patient rights and safety, maintaining confidentiality, following Life Care policies and Code of Conduct, utilizing therapy software, and delivering excellent customer service. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email. Must read/write/speak English. Location: Long Beach, CA.
Required Qualifications
- NBCOT certified upon hire
- Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (ASOT)
