Job Summary
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with OB/GYN specialty providing outpatient care in a dynamic healthcare setting. Responsibilities include conducting diagnostic evaluations and developing individualized care plans, administering medications and monitoring for side effects, supporting patients through cardiac catheterization procedures when required, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive internal medicine care, providing care in outpatient clinics and assisted living facilities, monitoring and documenting vital signs, maintaining accurate patient records, and educating patients and families on treatment plans and health maintenance strategies including inhalation therapies. Promote a positive, compassionate environment. Requires active CA LVN license, BLS, IV/Blood Draw certification, minimum 2 years LVN experience (1 year OB/GYN).
Required Qualifications
- Active California LVN license
- BLS Certification
- IV/Blood Draw Certification
- Minimum 2 years LVN experience (including 1 year OB/GYN)
- Experience in internal medicine or behavioral health a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
