Job Summary
Deliver high-quality, in-person STEAM, digital tech, art, life skills, and fitness instruction to PreK-12 students across Nexplore's 125+ program solutions. Prepare daily by reviewing lesson plans and materials, then teach engaging classes that cultivate critical thinking and problem-solving while managing all supplied instructional resources. Maintain consistency by arriving on time, adhering to the provided schedule, and communicating effectively with Program Success Managers and site personnel. Participate in family engagement efforts to empower student access to the program. This part-time role begins September 1st at a Miami, FL site, with classes running Monday through Friday from 3:15 pm to 4:15 pm. Compensation is $45 per hour of class time.
Required Qualifications
- AA Degree (or higher)
- Must commit to the full proposed schedule
- Reliable transportation
- Willing to complete mandatory training
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years teaching/instructing (preferred)
- Experience working with children
- Educational (development or training) experience
- Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!
