Job Summary
Instructors deliver in-person STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills and/or Fitness instruction to PreK-12 students at the site in Minneapolis, following provided lesson plans, curriculum, and materials. Responsibilities include arriving on time and prepared, delivering standard-aligned instruction, reviewing materials, communicating professionally with the Program Success Manager and site staff, using the 80+ program collection, applying accommodations when relevant, participating in family engagement efforts, and staying compliant with site expectations. Part-time schedule runs weekdays 1:00–6:00 pm with class blocks, paid at $55 per hour per class/assignment (mini camps, field trips, etc.). Requires reliable transportation and completion of mandatory training. Equal employment opportunity statement included.
Required Qualifications
- AA Degree (or higher)
- 2+ years teaching/instructing (preferred)
- Experience working with children
- Educational (development or training) experience
- Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!
- Must commit to the full proposed schedule
- Great communication and presentation skills
