Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive bedside swallow evaluations and interpret video swallow studies for hospitalized patients with dysphagia. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans while monitoring progress to modify interventions as needed. Provide patient and family education on swallowing safety and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure adherence to clinical standards. Maintain accurate documentation and support the interdisciplinary team during this 13-week inpatient assignment in Mattoon, IL, starting November 2, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) credentials and required state licensure
- Strong inpatient clinical experience
- Experience performing video swallow studies and bedside swallow evaluations
- Demonstrated experience with dysphagia management
- Previous travel experience
- Strong communication, assessment, and clinical decision-making skills
