Job Summary
Urgent pediatric home-care RN/LPN opening in Lakeland, FL for in-home one-on-one nursing care to preschool-aged patients with G-tube, Trach, and Vent needs. The role involves delivering care on a schedule including night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) and occasional weekend days, coordinating with a supportive clinical team, adhering to state Nurse Practice Acts and FFHC policies, maintaining updated patient records, and participating in training and QA programs. Requires LPN/LVN license (or multi-state license), CPR certification, ability to travel to patients’ homes, and at least 1 year of demonstrated nursing experience. Required Qualifications
- LPN/LVN Nursing Degree
- Unencumbered LPN/LVN License in the state of employment or Multi-State license through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact where recognized
- 1 year of demonstrated experience
- Valid driver license with proof of insurance in applicable states
- Clear background screening
- Working knowledge of Nurse Practice Acts
- Valid and current CPR card/certificate
- Hep B Screening in applicable states
- TB Screening in applicable states
- Role requires travel to patients' homes
- CPR card/instructor-led hands-on skills check
