Job Summary
Construction Superintendent responsible for day-to-day on-site operations, leadership of subcontractors and crews, and ensuring work complies with approved plans, schedules, and safety procedures. Lead site inspections, log activities and hazards, coordinate safety programs, investigate incidents, and maintain records. Participate in pre-construction and coordination meetings, enforce job hazard analyses and safety plans, track safety/quality deficiencies, and ensure subcontractors meet safety, quality, and project requirements while maintaining timely project delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- 10 years of progressively responsible construction experience, including supervisory or superintendent roles.
- Experience managing construction sites and coordinating multiple subcontractors.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety practices and site management principles.
- Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA 30 or equivalent) preferred.
- Experience with quality management systems is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic construction management tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced field environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Must be eligible to work in the project location (as applicable).
