URGENT Caregiver (Companion Care - HCA CERTIFIED NEEDED)

Join Assisting Hands Santa Clara as a Home Care Aide (Caregiver) to provide in-home and community-based care. Responsibilities include assisting clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary; maintaining a clean, safe environment; performing personal care activities per a written Plan of Care; monitoring health and reporting changes using the Assisting Hands system; supporting clients with specialized needs including Alzheimer’s/dementia and hospice care; promoting independence while respecting privacy; adhering to policies, CDSS, and HIPAA guidelines. Shifts are available 24/7 based on assignment. Qualifications include 1+ year home health care experience, willingness to learn medical terminology relevant to patient care, ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion, reliability, and strong communication. Pay is $22.00-$24.00 per hour. Work location is in-person in San Jose, CA.
