Job Summary
Urgent Care Veterinary Technician at Bedford Pet Urgent Care within Bedford Veterinary Medical Center in Southern New Hampshire. In a fast-paced urgent care setting, you will play a critical role in patient care, client communication, and life-saving support. Key duties include safely restraining animals with low-stress handling, triaging and assessing incoming patients, collecting and analyzing laboratory samples (blood, urine, fecal, skin, etc.), performing diagnostic imaging and radiographs, administering medications and treatments, monitoring anesthesia and assisting with surgical prep, procedures, and recovery, providing high-quality nursing care to stable and critical patients, documenting patient histories and medical records, and clearly and compassionately communicating treatment plans to clients.
