Urgent Care Veterinary Practice Manager

Practice Manager for an UrgentVet clinic responsible for leading day-to-day operations, fostering a positive work culture, and ensuring efficient after-hours acute care delivery. Responsibilities include advocating for patients with a Pet-First, Client-First approach; cultivating relationships with referring veterinarians and local businesses; serving as a brand ambassador within the local community; promoting an inclusive workplace culture; overseeing operational performance, engagement, growth, and financial stability; and collaborating with veterinarians to deliver timely, compassionate care. Requires strong leadership, exceptional communication, emotional intelligence, de-escalation and conflict-resolution skills, team management experience (preferably in veterinary or related field), and a proactive, outcome-focused mindset. Schedule typically 40-45 hours/week with extended hours occasionally; nights, weekends, and holidays required (no overnights); hours commonly 3-11pm on weekdays and 10am-8pm on weekends. Reports to the Regional Director of Operations.
