Job Summary
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat urgent medical conditions in companion animals, performing minor surgical interventions and developing individualized treatment plans. Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure exceptional patient care while educating clients on preventive measures and follow-up recommendations. Maintain accurate medical records and participate in continuing education and quality improvement initiatives. Uphold high standards of medical care and patient safety within modern facilities equipped with advanced diagnostic technology.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
- Active or eligible veterinary license in the state of practice
