Job Summary
Urgent Care Veterinary Assistant in a fast-paced urgent care setting responsible for triage, radiographs, lab sample handling, anesthesia monitoring, and client communication to support patient care and life-saving procedures. Key duties include safely restraining animals with low-stress handling, collecting and analyzing lab samples, performing diagnostic imaging, administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, assisting with surgical prep and recovery, documenting patient histories, and clearly conveying treatment plans to clients. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of veterinary assistant experience (required)
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends (required)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Solid understanding of preventative care, hospital workflow, and surgical procedures
- Competence in sample collection, lab test processing, radiograph positioning, and anesthetic monitoring

- Urgent Care Hospital Hours: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 12pm-11pm
