Job Summary
Urgent Care Veterinarian needed to provide after-hours care for canine and feline patients in a paperless clinic environment. Manage a varying caseload including injuries and common urgent cases, participate in open-hour scheduling (swing/second shift), collaborate with the clinical team and leadership, and contribute to community engagement in the Raleigh area. The role emphasizes relationship-based care, support for staff through internal LevelUp training, and flexible compensation with benefits. Requires a DVM/VMD from an AVMA-accredited college (or ECFVG/PAVE), and an active state license (or ability to obtain one). Experience with wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, euthanasia, cloud-based EMR, and IDEXX in-house lab equipment is a plus. Onsite in Chapel Hill, NC; part-time schedule with after-hours shifts.
Required Qualifications
- DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
- Active license in good standing to practice in the state in which candidate will be employed (or ability to obtain a license in that state)
